One paint, three shades

The CFO and I almost had a panic attack yesterday morning.  I used up the first gallon of paint with the first coat on the walls.  When I cut in around the plugs I noticed the paint looked a little darker.  This did not seem like a big deal as I used a foam brush and it probably went on thicker.  Then the CFO did the detail work with a brush around the trim before we went to bed.  When we woke up we saw this:

Notice that it is darkest around the plugs and much lighter around the trim and in the corner?  Ugh!
