Why are you crying?

I try to wait…  the Triplets will be playing well by themselves then all of a sudden I will hear a cry or a wale.  Previously I would to run to them to see what was the matter but now I try to give them a chance to work it out.  They are learning that if Daddy gets involved nobody is happy.  For instance Bruiser and Dash were fighting over a balloon yesterday.  One of them came crying to me (both were at fault) so I called the other one to me with the balloon…. then I popped the balloon.  Problem solved!  Of course both of their heads popped off:)

But I had something new the other day.  Bruiser came downstairs crying.  He was crying so hard it took me a minute to figure out what happened.  It turns out that he bit himself!  I was like “how in the world did that happen!”  His response?  “I tried to bite my shirt and I bit myself.”  That is too funny!

Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things.
